Carve is a strength-focused reformer studio based in Christchurch.

We exist for people who want to train consistently, be coached properly, and build real trust in their bodies - not just chase a feeling or a look.

Our Story

Carve was created because there was a gap between what people were putting into their training and what they were getting back.

Too often, workouts were either:

  • soft, unstructured, and easy to plateau in

  • or intense to the point of burnout, without real progression

Carve sits deliberately in the middle.

Our sessions are strength and resistance based, coached with intention, and designed to reward consistency over time. You don’t have to figure out what to do or how hard to push - you just show up and follow the process.

Each 50-minute class is programmed and led by the trainer in the room. There are no screens, no cookie-cutter formats, and no self-paced guessing. Everyone follows the same class structure, with layered options to meet different levels - all held to the same standard.

This is how people stay consistent. And consistency is what works.

Our Team

Carve trainers operate in a high challenge, high support environment.

Every class is programmed by the trainer delivering it, using Carve’s strength-focused framework. While each trainer brings their own personality to the room, the standard never changes: clear coaching, appropriate loading, and attention to the people in front of them.

You can attend any class time and know what to expect - not because classes are identical, but because the approach is consistent.

Our trainers are there to support you, challenge you, and hold the line when it matters. That’s how trust is built - in the body, and in the process.
